Privacy Policy
Last updated 31 October 2026
This policy explains what Sonar Grid (“we”, “us”) collects when you use getsonargrid.com and app.getsonargrid.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@getsonargrid.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and profile picture, provided when you sign in with an email link or with Google.
- Workspace data: the workspaces you create, team members you invite, lead lists, statuses you set, drafts you approve and the activity history of your workspace.
- Business listing data: public information about businesses retrieved from Google Places. We store only the Google place ID permanently; names, ratings and addresses are cached for up to 24 hours and refreshed when shown.
- Proof records: when an approved action runs, we store the time, the result and a screenshot of the page.
- Technical data: session cookies required to keep you signed in, and server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used for security and debugging.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we request only your basic profile: name, email address and profile picture (the openid, email and profile scopes). We use this data solely to create and identify your Sonar Grid account and to show your name and picture inside the app. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google service. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers listed below that host the service. Sonar Grid’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use data
- To provide the service: sign-in, workspaces, lead discovery, approvals and proof history.
- To keep accounts safe: rate limits, pausing accounts when a platform asks for verification, and investigating abuse.
- To contact you about your account or important changes to the service.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that run the service for us under contract: hosting and storage (Cloudflare), database hosting, email delivery for sign-in links, and Google for sign-in and business listings. Members of a workspace can see that workspace’s data. We may disclose data when required by law.
Storage and retention
Data is stored encrypted in transit and at rest. Account data is kept while your account is active. Workspace activity is append-only while the workspace exists. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time; we complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing, by writing to hello@getsonargrid.com. You can also revoke Sonar Grid’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Children
Sonar Grid is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
